  2. Fischer Learning to Ride a Bike (by phishery)

    Fischer has been cruising around on the home made jimmy rigged “balance bike” (a bike I took the crank out of so he could just push with his feet). After towing him to the park with a small rope on his balance bike it seemed like it was time to put him on Sammy’s small bike (where hey could barely put his toes down). He got going on his first try and was totally amazing. He was a bit afraid after the second run, but after some bribery (I promised him a box of candy) he took about 10 more runs.

    I decided to hang the camera out the car while cruising down the road with the Beatles’ ‘Hey Jude’ blaring in the car. I just liked the way the clouds looked with the music as their backdrop.

    We were headed to one of our new favorit burger joints called Freddy’s. I go for the triple, no bun, cheese, bacon, chiii, grilled onions, sauerkraut, pickles, and anything else they will throw on there for me.

    Tonight Jocie and I got to go to the U2 and The Fray concert. It was a blast. It had been like a million years (I think Phish 10 years back) since I had been to anything except a small bar show a friend of mine had. The seats were general admission and provided plenty of close up photos/video opportunities. I was kicking myself I didn’t bring my actual camera and we were stuck with the iphone.
